Changelog — Sheetwright for GGA
Newest first.
0.4.8 — 2026-10-06
- Templates that say "50 points chosen from …" now let you pick the individual abilities. Dungeon Fantasy's Bard offered its two whole lists ("Bard-Song", worth 131 points, and "Or:", worth 277) as two boxes for a 50-point choice, so nothing could ever fit and the choice was stuck. Now each list is a heading with its abilities beneath it, an "— or —" line between the two, and you tick what you want until the 50 points are spent. The window says "Choose up to 50 points" (not "exactly", unless the template says exactly) and a bar shows "32 of 50 points chosen · 18 left" — or "⚠ 12 over" with a hatched bar when you go past it.
- Set levels and points right in the choice. Charisma, Talents, Extra Fatigue Points and other leveled abilities have a levels box, skills and spells a points box, and the cost follows, so you can land on the total.
- Disadvantage choices like "-35 points chosen from" no longer say nothing fits. Dungeon Fantasy's Scout (and many other templates) asked for "exactly -35 points" and could never be met. Now they read "Choose up to 35 points of disadvantages", the bar counts "20 of 35 points of disadvantages chosen", and quirks read as quirks. An advantage sitting in a disadvantage list is marked "advantage" and gives its points back.
- Labels are no longer options. A folder like "from the previous list or:" or an empty one shows as a divider line with its own words, never as a 0-point box to tick.
- Numbered option folders like "3." no longer stay on the sheet. Choose "3." (Sling) in DF Archer and you get "Primary Skill › Sling", not "Primary Skill › 3. › Sling"; the window shows the option as "3. Sling (16)". For characters built earlier, a new button on a list's title removes them.
- New GM setting: when a character takes a second template, attribute increases they already have are not bought again (Meet). If one template gave Increased Strength 1 and the next also gives it, ST stays 11 and nothing is added; if the next gives 2, only the missing level is bought, on the same row. GMs who want them added can choose Stack. It covers the whole game — every template, every character — and the template window shows which rule is in force and what it will do ("ST: already 11 · template asks 11 · 0 pts added").
- Never stuck on a choice. If you go on with points unspent, it asks once and the points stay unspent on the budget bar. If what you picked breaks the rule, "Go on anyway" lets you keep it. Only when even the cheapest option is too expensive does the window say nothing fits — and you can still choose by hand, keep it as written, or skip it.
- Surprise me picks individual abilities (at random levels where they have them) as close to the total as it can without going over, and leaves them ticked so you can change them.
- Cancel the template now cancels the whole template, not one screen. Cancel, the window's close button and Esc stop the build: nothing is applied and the character stays exactly as it was. After you have made choices it asks once before throwing them away. Back returns to the previous choice with your answers still filled in, and Skip this choice leaves out just that one choice.
- More than 20 more Master Library choices now read right: a disadvantages choice written as "20 points from the following", and names like "Pick 35 Points Chosen Among" or "Choose 30 additional points", which were read as "choose 35 items".
- The rules engine is now GCS 5.53.0. Prerequisites follow it: a skill with 0 points no longer counts toward another's prerequisite, and a group inside a template choice that ends up empty is removed, as desktop GCS does.
0.4.7 — 2026-10-05
- The Adopt window scrolls, and its buttons stay in view. On a character with more than a screenful of rows, the Adopt / Check again / Cancel buttons sat below the window's edge with no way to reach them — the window showed the report but no way to accept it. The report now scrolls and the buttons stay pinned at the bottom.
0.4.6 — 2026-10-04
- Shattered Earth: your current SP no longer refills when you edit the character. Like HP and FP, Stability Points you have lost stay lost through every Sheetwright edit; Start new still begins at full and Load .gcs uses the file's.
0.4.5 — 2026-10-03
- Works alongside modules that watch character imports. Every edit in Sheetwright shows the character on the GGA sheet through GGA's own importer, so a module that reacts to imports used to think you had imported a new character file on every click. Now those modules can tell a Sheetwright edit from a real import, and Sheetwright tells them once per edit what changed ("Added Stealth (4 pts)", "Undo: …").
- The Shattered Earth override sees one advancement proposal per edit. With both modules on, adding a skill, changing points on the sheet, Undo or applying a template asks the GM once to approve the character-point spend — not once per refresh — and quick edits in a row arrive as one proposal.
- GGA's re-import button remembers your file again. A character you first imported from a file in Foundry's Data folder can be re-imported from that same file after Sheetwright has edited it; Sheetwright used to overwrite the remembered path.
0.4.4 — 2026-10-03
- The points block on the GGA sheet adds up the way GCS does. Build Monster Hunters' Commando and the corner of the sheet used to say *Advantages 291, Disadvantages 0*: GGA counted the whole "Commando" folder as one big advantage, with its disadvantages netted inside it. Now Advantages, Disadvantages, Quirks, Attributes, Skills, Spells and Race show the same numbers desktop GCS shows for the character, and Unspent always matches the builder's budget bar. Spells kept in a folder count too (they used to count 0).
- Hover a line in the points block to see what it counts, with the page in the Basic Set. Attributes is only what you spent raising ST, DX, IQ, HT and the secondaries directly; a template that buys *Increased Dexterity 6* as a trait counts it under Advantages, as GCS does, so Attributes can read 0 on a DX 16 character.
0.4.3 — 2026-10-03
- Fill in tells you what to type. Hover a box in the Fill in window and it now says what goes there instead of how blanks work: what the entry is (its notes and page, like *Page MH1:25*), a plain sentence — "Type the particular attack this Trademark Move is for." — the template author's own examples when there are some ("For example: Angels, Demons, Elementals, Faerie, Ghosts."), and what leaving it blank does.
- A box left blank really stays blank. Leaving a word empty used to fill it with nothing, so *Trademark Move (@Particular Attack@)* came out as "Trademark Move ()". Now the entry keeps the template's own word until you fill it in.
0.4.2 — 2026-10-03
- Templates ask for "any" specialties. A template that gives a skill only a placeholder specialty — Monster Hunters' Commando adds *Area Knowledge (Any)* — now asks for it in the Fill in window, in a box labeled Specialty. Type the area (or subject, or hobby) you take; leave it empty and the skill stays as the template wrote it. A specialty that describes something, like *Gambling (any card game)*, is left alone.
- Type a skill's specialty in the inspector. Select a skill in the builder and its Specialty box is there, for a template's "any" you skipped or a skill from the library that needs one.
- Old-style templates no longer lose skills. Building an Action template such as Shooter could quietly drop skills you had chosen (Tactics, a Guns specialty, Fast-Draw) when the same skill also sat in a lens or option you didn't choose, and could leave an unchosen skill like Hiking on the sheet at 0 points. Both are fixed: you get exactly the skills you picked, with their points. If you built one of those templates with 0.4.1 or earlier, Reset to template rebuilds it correctly.
- "The book may mean pick one." When a template adds a whole set of packages side by side with no choice in the file — Monster Hunters' *Know Thy Enemy* adds all twelve, Cryptids to Zombies — the template preview and the line under the status after building say so: *Know Thy Enemy adds 12 packages (Cryptids, Demons, …) — the book may mean pick one; remove the rest after building.* Nothing is removed for you.
0.4.1 — 2026-10-02
- The Fill in window asks only what it needs. Words that belong to a modifier the template leaves switched off (like Resistant's "@Common…@" options on the Celestial half-spirit) are no longer asked; switch the modifier on later and its word is asked then.
- The Fill in window reads like a form. Each entry gets a header with its name and kind, and every box says where its word comes from ("from modifier: Specialized"); long labels sit above their box. It follows the builder's text size.
- No more long wait right after the world opens. Opening the builder or building from a template in the first half minute could stall for 10 seconds or more while your browser read the Master Library's templates. They're now read on their own instead of re-reading the whole library, so that wait is less than half as long and over sooner. Building from a template once things are loaded takes well under a second (Celestial: about a quarter of a second).
- The Build button is at the top too. In the template preview, "Build … from this template" now sits right under the name and cost as well as at the bottom, so a long template never makes you scroll to find it. A kit's builds get both too.
- Fill in shows words, not codes. A header that used to read "Destiny (@Advantage@)" now reads "Destiny (Advantage)", with the word in gray italics until you fill it in, and it changes to what you type as you type it.
- Sheetwright gets ready as soon as the world opens. A new setting, *Start the GCS engine when the world opens* (on by default, per player), starts the rules engine and reads your libraries right away, so the first builder click is instant. The Sheetwright menu's bottom line shows how far it has got. Turn it off on a slow machine or if you never build.
- Libraries added twice are pointed out. If the same library is in your world twice (say "Master Library" and "master"), the second copy is marked duplicate of Master Library in the Libraries window. Every copy costs a full read each time the world opens, so removing one is a safe speed-up; Sheetwright never removes it for you.
0.4.0 — 2026-10-02
Sheetwright now runs on GCS 5.52.0 and understands the new way GCS templates offer choices.
- Templates tell you which choices you must make. Each choice says required or optional. An optional one has a None of these button. Where a cost still depends on what you pick inside it, it shows as a range — "5–12 pts" — and hovering it says why.
- Pick the modifier right there. Some entries come with a choice of modifier (which enhancement or limitation they take). When you tick such an option, its modifier choices open right under it in the same window, with what each does to the cost ("+20%", "−50%"). If the template's author already picked one, it shows as *set by the template author*; leave it or change it. A template whose only question was a modifier choice used to stop with an error; it now asks.
- Equipment choices. Templates can now offer gear: each option shows its value and weight ("$450 · 3 lb"), and what you pick goes on your carried list, equipped.
- Tidier choice lists. Options the template sorts into groups show those groups in gray before the name ("Weapons › Blades › Broadsword"); the groups themselves never land on your sheet. The template's preview sums up what it adds: "Adds 2 traits, 1 skill and 1 item".
- Old-style templates are marked. Templates that only say what to choose in a folder's name get a small old-style template mark; Sheetwright still asks those choices for you, and the GCS Master Library is converting them. A template with real GCS choices is never second-guessed from its folder names.
- Prerequisites can switch traits off. The inspector has GCS 5.52's Disable traits whose prerequisites are unsatisfied. With it on, a trait whose prerequisites aren't met counts as off and its row says prereqs unmet.
- Modifier choices in the inspector. A choice of modifiers says its rule ("choose one (required)"); ticking one turns the others off, and the pick of a required choice is locked so you swap it instead of leaving it empty.
- Equipment says group or container. In the equipment lists, a folder says *group* (it only sorts) or *container* (a backpack or holster that weighs something itself).
- Which version am I running? The Help window and the Libraries window now say, for example, "Sheetwright 0.4.0 · GCS engine 5.52.0". When a newer Sheetwright is out, they say so too, and mention when it brings a newer GCS engine.
- The version line is always there. It shows the moment Help or Libraries opens, even when your browser can't reach Sheetwright's website to ask whether there's an update.
- Files from a newer GCS get a plain answer. Loading a character saved by a newer GCS than Sheetwright reads now says exactly that — "This file was saved by GCS 6. Sheetwright's engine is GCS 5.52.0, which can't read it yet. Update Sheetwright, or re-save the file from GCS 5.52.0 or earlier." — instead of a cryptic error, and nothing on the character changes. A library with a few such files still loads everything else and names the first file it skipped.
- The Master Library download checks first. If a new Master Library release uses a file format this Sheetwright can't read yet, it isn't downloaded: the Libraries window says to update Sheetwright first, and the library you have keeps working.
- Template words come in desktop GCS's order. When a template needs words filled in (the area for Area Knowledge, say), Sheetwright now asks for the traits' words first, then skills, then spells, as GCS 5.52.0 does. A word a trait and a skill share is asked once, under the trait.
0.3.3 — 2026-10-02
- Checked in a real browser before every release. Each version is now tried out automatically in a real Foundry with GGA before it ships: starting a character, adding from the library, editing points on the GGA sheet, templates and their choices, kits, Undo and Redo, Download .gcs, unlinked tokens, text size, Higher contrast and color-blind views. You won't see it in your game — it just means fewer surprises after an update.
- Overspent is clear without color. When a character costs more than its total, the budget line now says "⚠ 12 over" instead of a red "-12 unspent", and the bar fills with diagonal stripes. A disadvantage or quirk count past the campaign's limit gets the ⚠ too.
- The library search keeps up while the Master Library loads. Typing in the builder's library drawer or the "+" search no longer waits for the loading in the background (the libraries a few seconds after the world opens, then the templates): results come as soon as you stop typing. It could take a second, or as long as the templates took to read.
0.3.2 — 2026-10-01
Fixes from playing 0.3.1 with the whole Master Library: templates ask things in the right order, the template panel opens at once, and the builder is easier to read and to size for your eyes.
- Choices first, then the blanks. Building from a template like the Action *Assassin* used to ask for every "@blank@" in the whole template before you'd picked anything, with no hint which line each belonged to. Now you make all your choices first, and only then fill in the words — only for the rows you actually chose, grouped under each row's name ("Duty (@Agency, Mob, Service, or similar@)"), with its notes and page when you hover. A word two rows share is asked once.
- See what's in a group before you pick it. A choice that is a whole group now says what's inside: "Air Assault — group of 2: Climbing (2), Rappelling (2) — 4 pts".
- The template panel opens instantly. It used to take about 15 seconds and the prices dribbled in. Now the cards are there the moment you open it; the costs are worked out once in the background and remembered by your browser, so next time they're all there at once. Only the template you click is tried out in full.
- Bigger text if you want it. A new Aa button on the builder's toolbar steps through Small, Medium, Large and Extra large; everything in the builder grows and the cards and tables rearrange to fit. Only for you (also in Configure Settings).
- Easier to find your way around the sheet. Block titles (Attributes, Traits, Skills…) stand out in the accent color under a tinted rule, and groups alternate between two shades (the second with a dashed edge) so you can see where one ends and the next begins. *Higher contrast* still flattens it all to strong grays.
- Click anywhere on a row to select it, not just on its name.
- One thing at a time. The template panel, the sheet and the library drawer no longer pile on top of each other: Library from the templates takes you to the sheet with the drawer open, Templates closes the drawer, and the template panel has a Back to sheet button (Esc works too).
- No more pointless re-downloads. The Master Library button now checks GitHub first: if you already have the latest release it just says "Master Library 5.15.0 is current". Re-download anyway is there if files went missing.
- Page references like GCS. An entry with several page references shows "B92+" in the library drawer; hover for all of them.
- No more ghost rows on the GGA sheet. If GGA's importer stumbled part-way through a list it still said "done", and the old rows of that list stayed on the sheet next to the character's real ones (unlocked, unpriced). Sheetwright now checks the sheet after every update and puts it right, and the next edit on the sheet clears any it finds.
- Techniques read properly on the GGA sheet: "Rappelling (Climbing)" instead of "Rappelling ([object Object])".
- No empty folders from templates. A choice you didn't take goes away with its folder, and a chosen group whose only skill the template already had ("Advanced Jump" in Airborne School) adds its points to that skill without leaving an empty "Advanced Jump" behind. A chosen group stays a group only while *Keep template groups* is on.
- Characters on unlinked tokens. A token that is an unlinked copy of an actor always shows that actor's own traits and skills underneath (that's how Foundry builds such copies), which is why some sheets kept rows the character no longer had. Now, before the builder or a Sheetwright action changes an unlinked token, it asks: make it its own actor, or edit the base actor for every token. The menu and builder say "unlinked token" so you can tell.
- The builder shows the character it's editing. A token copy and its actor no longer share one builder window, and the builder reads the character afresh after Reset, Undo and Restore.
- The token button never dead-ends. With no token selected it lists your characters to choose from.
- Templates are ready when you are. After the libraries load, your browser quietly fetches the template files too, pausing whenever you're working, so the template panel is usually ready before you open it. Turn off *Load templates in the background* on a metered or slow connection.
- Kits of builds. Template files that hold several separate builds or modules (the *Delvers to Grow* build templates, Pyramid 115's "Magical …" options) show as one card you open to pick a build. Only that build goes on, with only its own choices — no more questions from three different builds running together. "Apply the whole file" is still there.
- Drop anywhere. Drag a library row onto any part of the builder's sheet and it goes to the list it belongs to — a trait dropped on Skills lands in Traits; drop it on a group to put it inside. It works on the character's GGA sheet too.
Not yet: the library drawer still can't tell apart the many Telekinesis variants some libraries build from different modifiers. That needs a change in the rules engine first.
0.3.1 — 2026-10-01
The builder grows up to the whole Master Library: no more freezes, every template within reach, and the choices templates hide in their folder names finally get asked.
- No more frozen builder. Loading your libraries no longer locks the window for half a minute. The rules engine now works beside Foundry instead of inside it, a progress bar shows how far along it is, and it starts by itself a few seconds after the world opens, so most of the time it's done before you need it. Templates are read only when you open the template panel.
- Typing in the library search just works. The cursor stays in the box while results come in, on every tab, and every keystroke is answered at once even with the full Master Library loaded.
- Every template, findable. The template panel lists all of them (1,845 in the Master Library), as cards or as a compact list, alphabetical. Pick one or more books ("Action", "Dungeon Fantasy") to narrow it; your view and books are remembered. Searching finds folder names too: "skill sets" finds the Action skill sets.
- Template choices done right. Each choice opens in its own window titled with where it sits ("Hobgoblin (Yrth) › Select level of night vision"). Leveled options get a level box right there, and choices tucked inside other choices are asked once you pick their parent. Only what you chose lands on the character.
- The "Choose one" folders get asked too. About 500 Master Library templates, most of the Action ones, write their choices into folder names ("Choose one", "Two of these options, or one of them twice", "20 points chosen from"), and until now you got every option. Sheetwright now asks those like any other choice, takes back points GCS had folded into a shared skill, and offers As written if you want everything anyway.
- Groups your way. Ungroup any group, Flatten all in a list, or turn off the new world setting *Keep template groups* to get bare rows from templates. Meta-traits and ancestries always stay whole.
- Sort. Every list has a Sort menu: by name, attribute, level, points, type, college, weight, cost, book order or as entered, inside a group, within each group, the groups themselves, everything, or the whole list ignoring groups. One step, one Undo, and the GGA sheet shows the same order.
- Easier to read. Groups are shaded bands in bold with a folder icon, rows inside them are indented with a guide line, other rows are striped, and each row says what it is right after its name ("DX/A", "technique of Broadsword", "advantage", "quirk").
- Same spell in four books? Now you can tell them apart. Each copy shows the file it's in ("Magic › Sorcery Spells") and what's different about it (page, tags, college), and you can drag any copy straight onto the sheet.
- Readable for everyone. All of Sheetwright's text now meets the 4.5:1 contrast standard in both Foundry themes (the builder's drawer was dark-on-dark in the light theme, fixed). Nothing relies on color alone, and a new per-player setting, Higher contrast, makes quiet text full strength and lines bolder.
- The Master Library downloads for real. On the Libraries panel, Download the GCS Master Library now fetches the latest release straight from GitHub with a progress bar (about a minute), notes which release you have, and tells you when a newer one is out.
- Fixes: the manual opens in a window inside Foundry instead of showing raw HTML; the point total is now set the way desktop GCS sets it, so GCS no longer adds a "Reconciliation" entry when it opens a downloaded character.
0.3.0 — 2026-10-01
The builder is now a character sheet of its own, and new characters start from a template.
- Start from a template. Open the builder on a new actor and it offers your libraries' templates as cards, each with its cost and how many choices it asks; click one to see what it gives and what you'll have left. Build asks the choices one at a time, with Surprise me for a quick pregen and Roll for choices that come with dice. The whole template goes on as one step. Add a second template later (race, then profession) and it stacks.
- A budget bar you can't miss. Points spent and left, against the campaign's total (a new world setting) or the character's own; disadvantages and quirks against the campaign's limits (Basic Set B11); and a plain list of what's wrong and what to do about it.
- The sheet, the GCS way. Identity and portrait (drop an image on it), attributes, secondary characteristics, encumbrance and lifting, hit locations with DR, weapons, and the lists — traits, skills, spells, equipment — each with add, new group, erase and a count. Type levels, points and quantities right in the rows; hover any locked number to see why it is what it is.
- The inspector. Select a row to see why it costs what it does, switch its modifiers on and off (or add new ones), see whether its prerequisites are met and what it changes on the sheet, and keep notes. Traits can be marked as temporary effects (switched on by hand for now; Active Effects come later).
- Undo and Redo while the window is open, for every change — yours or one made on the GGA sheet. Erase clears a whole list in one step; Reset empties the character but keeps who it is; Reset to template goes back to what the templates gave.
- Drag to reorder and group. Drag rows above or below each other, into a group or out of it. Sorting or dragging on the GGA sheet sticks now too, instead of snapping back on the next edit.
- A library drawer. Search slides in over the sheet: tabs per kind, one library or all, the same entry from many books folded into one line with your house library's copy first, and the level one point would buy, shown before you add it.
- Custom traits take a self-control roll (B120), and custom equipment can be priced by hand.
- New world settings: campaign points, disadvantage limit, quirk limit, house library.
0.2.1 — 2026-09-30 (first published alpha)
Spelling doesn't have to be perfect any more. This is the first version on omegavtt.com; it includes everything in 0.2.0 and 0.1.0 below.
- "Did you mean". Type "cmbt reflx", "Combat Reflxes", "comabt" or just "cr" in the "+" search and Combat Reflexes still comes up, under a "Did you mean" heading, marked as a close or possible match. Arrow keys and Enter work on the suggestions too. The builder's filter shows the same under "Close matches".
- Misspelled rows fix themselves. Type "Reflxes" into a row on the GGA sheet and, when only one library name is that close, you get the real Combat Reflexes at 15 points. The browser console says what it did. When two names are equally close it leaves your row alone instead of guessing.
- Adopt spots misspellings. A sheet row like "Combat Reflxes" now shows up as a guessed match ("close") instead of a custom row; you accept or reject it as before.
- Two new world settings: "Did you mean" suggestions, and fixing misspelled names typed on the sheet. Both on by default.
0.2.0
Not published on its own (included in 0.2.1). Second alpha: adding things the easy way, seeing why numbers are what they are, and bringing existing characters in.
- "+" searches your libraries. On an engine character, "+" on the traits, skills or spells list opens a search box. Type "Combat" and Combat Reflexes shows up with its cost (15 pts), page and library; press Enter and it's on the sheet at 15 points — no typing in costs. Techniques show with skills, templates under their own heading, and entries that need a word filled in (like Area Knowledge) ask for it. A brand-new character can use Add a trait, skill or spell in the Sheetwright menu.
- It tells you when it can't price something. If no loaded library has what you typed — or there's no trait library at all — the search says so plainly and offers a custom form: base cost and cost per level for a trait; attribute, difficulty and points for a skill; the default skill for a technique; college and difficulty for a spell.
- Locked numbers explain themselves. Skill and spell levels, trait costs and attribute costs carry a small lock. Hover for the engine's breakdown (the same one desktop GCS shows, with page references); click the lock to change what the number comes from. The numbers still roll as before.
- Adopt this character. Bring in a sheet typed by hand or imported from GCA: Sheetwright matches its rows to your libraries, shows what matched, what it guessed and what it couldn't find, lists every level the engine would see differently, and only then takes the character over. Current HP/FP, conditions, equipment and notes stay as they are.
- The builder window. A bigger window for building: your libraries as a tree on the left (drag, double-click or filter), the whole character on the right with the points bar, attributes with − and +, levels and points side by side. Everything you do there shows on the sheet at once.
- New settings: library search on "+" (world), lock marks and breakdown tooltips (per player).
Not yet: switching a trait's modifiers on and off, a custom trait's self-control roll and a custom spell's class (they need an engine update), and equipment through the engine.
0.1.0
Not published on its own (included in 0.2.1). First alpha: the GGA sheet, backed by the GCS rules engine.
- Build on the sheet you know. Change an attribute, HP or FP maximum, or a skill's points on the GGA sheet, and the engine (GURPS Character Sheet, running in your browser) works out every level and point total the way desktop GCS does.
- Start new or load a .gcs. The Sheetwright button on the sheet header, the hammer in the token controls, or a right-click in the Actors sidebar opens one menu: start a blank engine character, load a file from desktop GCS, download the character as a
.gcs, or restore a snapshot.
- Your play state is safe. Current HP and FP, conditions, trackers and equipped toggles are never touched, and GGA's "keep or overwrite HP/FP?" question no longer pops up.
- Rows that match your library come from your library. Add a row with GGA's right-click menu and give it a name your GCS library has, and you get the real thing: correct difficulty, defaults and prerequisites.
- Levels are results. Typing over a skill level or a point cost puts the engine's value back and tells you what to change instead.
- Snapshots. Earlier versions are kept (5 by default) and can be restored; restoring keeps the current one too.
- Libraries panel (GM). Add a GCS library folder under Data, upload files or a zip, or follow the link to the GCS Master Library release. The module ships no game data.
- Fails safe. If the engine can't load or a library can't be read, GGA works exactly as it does without Sheetwright.
Sheetwright.diagnose() in the console gives a report to paste into a bug.
Not yet: the search-as-you-type "+" picker, Adopt this character, and equipment through the engine.
